Lord Hope gave an inaugural lecture as the Patron of the Aberdeen Law Project, on 20th January 2014 at the University of Aberdeen.
Anna Robertson, Student Director of the Aberdeen Law Project said:
"I was extremely delighted that we received support from the University, the profession and the public. The Annual Lecture allowed us to take the opportunity to celebrate The Aberdeen Law Project's achievements over the last five years. I thought that Lord Hope's address was extremely relevant to all lawyers, be it, still undertaking an LLB or an experienced solicitor. It was also very encouraging for our students that Lord Hope took time during the reception to speak with them and discuss our work within the community."
