Have you worked hard on an excellent dissertation, case commentary, essay or book review? Or do you have a passion for a particular area of law to write about? Your work could be published in Volume XII of the Aberdeen Student Law Review (ASLR)! The ASLR is a peer-reviewed journal with readership around the world, showcasing the best work of students and alumni of the University of Aberdeen School of Law. The ASLR is published on the database HeinOnline alongside leading Scots law journals such as the Juridical Review and the Edinburgh Law Review.
We are now accepting submissions for Volume XII, due to be published during 2023 in the following categories:
- Full research articles (~4,000-10,000 words)
- Short articles (~1,500-4,000 words)
- Case commentaries (~1,000-2,000 words)
- Book reviews (~500-1,500 words)
Word counts do not include footnotes and all submissions must conform to the latest edition of OSCOLA. The deadline for submissions is 5th December 2022. Submissions should be sent to aslr@abdn.ac.uk as a Word document. Submissions are accepted only from University of Aberdeen students and alumni.
