Aberdeen University Centre for Energy Law (AUCEL) is delighted to be recognised as a charter member of the American Bar Association's (ABA) new national Network of Environmental Law Societies (ELS Network or ELSN), and the only member located outside of the USA.
The network, launched last year, was set up by ABA's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER) and the School of Law's membership was organised by AUCEL's Dr Daria Shapovalova and Professor Roy Partain.
AUCEL believe the network will be beneficial not only to its members but also to students, offering opportunities in, for example, global research or environmental advocacy.
