On Friday 23rd April 2021, Dr Eddy Wifa gave the keynote address at the Colloquium on Law and Policy for Renewable Energy in Kenya. The event was organised by the Law School, Strathmore University Kenya. In his talk on "Energy Security from a Legal Perspective in the Context of Climate Change: Who is fooling who?", he suggested the need for an energy revolution within the African continent, especially in the light of the prevailing energy crisis. He also suggested that such a revolution should be one that is radical, organic and takes account of the social-justice and climate change implications of such a shift.
