A talk with the “Climate Justice” was delivered AUCEL’s Dr Thomas L Muinzer (Co-Director) to staff and colleagues at the University of the West Indies. He then participated in a round table discussion with Prof John Agard, Co-Char of the UN’s 2023 Global Sustainable Development Report team, Dr Hugh Sealy, Vice-Chair of the Clean Development Mechanism Executive Board (UNFCCC), Dr Emily Dick-Ford, former Minister for Planning (Trinidad and Tobago), and others. Friday 5th March 2021, 3–4:30pm (UK time).
Dr Muinzer spoke on invitation from the Dean of the Faculty of Law. The University of the West Indies contains leading researchers and educators in the field of climate and energy law and governance, and the University is currently working on a pioneering new Climate Justice strategy. AUCEL looks forward to continuing its collaborative links with UWI friends and colleagues in going forward.
