Yada Dejchai, a PhD student at the Law School, has recently achieved the Anglo-Thai Society's "Education Award for Excellence" in Law. This award recognises the exceptional academic achievements of Thai post-graduate scholars in the UK, and the achievements of post-graduate scholars whose studies benefit Thailand.
Yada is is curently writing a thesis titled 'Reforming the Insanity Defence in Thailand: A Comparative Study in the Light of Legal Developments in Scotland and England and Wales' and is being supervised by Dr Elizabeth Shaw and Dr Isla Callander.
