Dr Constantinos Yiallourides recently presented a paper Chatham House Conference on 'Security and Prosperity in the Asia-Pacific: The Role of International Law'. This conference brought together international law and policy experts to explore the political and legal dynamics affecting economic relations, security challenges and maritime governance in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr Yiallourides’ presentation discussed challenges and opportunities for regional cooperation over seabed activities and the emerging regulatory framework for deep-sea mining.
