Professor Peter Duff gave a lecture at a workshop on “Public Prosecutor’s role on Woman’s Right Protection in the Criminal Justice” on the 23rd – 25th January in Bangkok.
During the workshop, Professor Duff presented a paper on: “The protection of female victim and vulnerable witness’ right in Scottish Criminal Justice System: evidence and procedure review.” The welcome and opening remarks were given by the Attorney General followed by Professor Duff’s presentation.
The Workshop was organised by the Attorney-General's Department for Regional Chief Prosecutors. Moreover, approximately one hundred Regional Chief Prosecutors and senior officials in the Attorney General's and Prosecution Office were in attendance. Plus, the workshop was streamed live to the more distant Regional Prosecutor's Offices.
