The Law School offers a range of scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate taught study. Applications are now open, with most closing on June 30th.

Undergraduate Scholarships:
The scholarship is valued at £2,000 per annum and is awarded on the basis of financial need, widening access and talent to a student commencing a degree in Law (LLB) in September 2018. It is awarded to students who have lived in Scotland for a minimum of 5 years immediately prior to their university studies and obtained their undergraduate entrance qualification through the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (or its successor).

University of Aberdeen Undergraduate Scholarships (RUK)
The University of Aberdeen is committed to attracting the very best students, regardless of financial circumstances, which is why we offer a large number of scholarships to undergraduate students. These are designed to provide assistance to help students support themselves during their time at university, and also aim to reward academic excellence.
Our undergraduate Scholarships, for those classified as Rest of UK (RUK) Fees, are available based on two criteria: "Access" and "Merit". Scholarships based on "Access" exist to support those who may otherwise struggle to meet the cost of studies while "Merit" scholarships are designed for those who have shown considerable academic potential in their A Level results. Students meeting the criteria of both scholarships are entitled to receive both payments, potentially £4,000 per annum. The scholarships are not available to graduate students undertaking further study.

Vikram Reddy Memorial Scholarship
The Vikram Reddy Memorial Scholarship offers £1,000 to support one postgraduate student from the United Kingdom through a one year full time Master of Laws (taught or research) programme (LLM) at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.

University of Aberdeen Law School Energy and Environmental Law Scholarship
There is one University of Aberdeen Law School Energy and Environmental Law Scholarship available. The scholarship offers £3,000 towards full time Home, RUK or International tuition fees for one year full tim of LLM Energy & Environmental Law with Professional Skills programme at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.
The Robert and Elizabeth Mitchell Law Scholarship will support one postgraduate student from the United Kingdom through a one year full time Master of Laws programme (LLM) at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018. This will cover Home or RUK tuition fees up to the value of £7,800.

Law School LLM Merit Scholarships
The Law School Merit Scholarship offers £6,300 to support one postgraduate student from any country through a one year full time Master of Laws (taught) programme at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.

The David Carey Miller Scholarship
The David Carey Miller Scholarship has been established in memory of Professor David Carey Miller, a former head of the School of Law and one of the founding fathers of the Aberdeen Summer Program, established in 1986. The scholarship will support a one-year taught LLM Masters degree at the University of Aberdeen. The scholarship is open to students from the USA, and includes academic fees, travel and accommodation costs. Applications will be reviewed by a panel from the School of Law and the scholarship will be awarded on academic merit.

There are six scholarships available - Each valued at £5,000 which will contribute towards tuition fees.The scholarships are open to all students from Canada paying International Tuition Fees commencing any full-time on-campus Postgraduate Taught degree including the 2 Year Accelerated LLB programme in September 2018.

SFC Postgraduate Tuition Fees Scholarships
Postgraduate full tuition fee scholarships for Scottish/Non-UK EU applicants looking to study one of the following Masters programmes (below) for September 2018/19 entry.
To be considered for funding simply apply to one of the below programmes in the standard way by June 30th 2018.
As long as you are made an offer you will automatically be considered for a funding award. If you are nominated for an award, you will receive confirmation of this via email.
