Professor Tina Hunter in Croatia

Professor Tina Hunter in Croatia

Building on a relationship established in November 2016 with the University of Zagreb, Professor Hunter was invited to present and chair a panel session at the second energy conference at the University of Zagreb on Friday 31 March. The topic of Professor Hunter's presentation was 'the regulation of FLNG for gas production in the Adriatic- lessons from Australia’. This topic is a very important topic in Croatia at present as it determines how to develop its offshore gas resources in a manner that provides the greatest benefit for Croatia.

After the conference, and continuing the petroleum theme, Professor Hunter presented a seminar at the criminal law spring school in Dubrovnik. The topic of her seminar was ‘criminality and human rights violations in the extraction of petroleum: the example of the Niger Delta’.

Professor Hunter was also the international judge of the final of the Annual Adriatic Moot, also held in Dubrovnik on Friday 7 April.
