On Thursday 17th September 2015, Slaughter & May, one of the most respected law firms in the City, hosted a joint event with the School of Law. The event provided Sixth Form students at schools in central London with some insights into both becoming a lawyer and studying the LLB with English Law at the University of Aberdeen. Heather Broad of the university's Student Recruitment and Admissions Service, Carry Chen, a recent graduate of the university and a current trainee with Dickson Minto, Dr Colin Mackie, a lecturer in the School of Law, and Dominic Robertson, a partner at Slaughter & May, all provided presentations and fielded questions from the students.
