Last week, Dr Constantinos Yiallourides gave a paper at the international conference “Republic of Cyprus and International Law”, organised by the University of Cyprus together with the Hellenic Society of International Law. Dr Yiallourides’ paper examined the interaction between the rules on the use of force and the law of the sea in the context of unilateral petroleum activities supported by military forces.
