On Wednesday 4 May we will be refreshing and updating Skype for Business 2015 on all managed devices.
What should you do?
As part of this process, Skype for Business should auto start and auto login.
If Skype doesn’t auto start, and you are prompted to Sign in,
· Enter your email address in the format j.bloggs@abdn.ac.uk and your usual password, tick the Save my password checkbox, and click Sign In.
If you see the Credentials are required prompt,
· Enter your user name in the format abc123@abdn.ac.uk and your usual password, tick the Save my password checkbox, and click OK.
Background
Skype for Business is a communication tool that allows you to interact with colleagues or other Skype users via instant messaging, online meetings, virtual whiteboards, file sharing, VOIP telephone calls (using your computer) and video conferencing.
