What is happening?
University of Highlands and Islands Engineers will be carrying out essential maintenance to their core network and wireless service in Inverness. This work will take place between 10am – 12pm Saturday 11th October 2014 for the core network, and the wireless service maintenance is meant to finish by 6pm.
As a result all University of Aberdeen network connections at Raigmore will be disrupted for this time period.
What should you do?
During this time, there will be interruptions to the Centre for Rural Health and the Student residences and therefore network connections (including wireless service) should be considered at risk, with the possibility of extended periods of network outage.
