INFORMATION: PC Classroom outages, 9th July - 16th August 2013

Rolling program of classroom upgrades

What is happening?

DIT staff will be updating the hardware and software on the PCs in the various IT Services managed classrooms, clusters and lecture theatres (http://www.abdn.ac.uk/dit/student/class/wherepc.php) during the six week period Tuesday 9th July - Friday 16th August inclusive. 

At some point during this period, each classroom will be taken out of service for a period of approximately 6 hours. If all goes well, this will only happen once per classroom, and only one classroom at a time will be out of service, ensuring that nearby classrooms or clusters will be available to students and other users.

We are happy to workaround existing bookings and delay the upgrade in specific rooms if required.
