All MFDs and some network printers unresponsive - from early morning, Thursday 17 September
What is happening?
Early this morning part of the printing service affecting all Multi Function Devices (MFDs) and some network printers became unresponsive and stopped handling print requests. DIT Service Engineers have attempted to switch the service over to the backup system, but this has failed to start and we are currently unable to resume service.
At this time, we have been unable to isolate the root cause of this problem and cannot yet offer an estimated time to resolve this issue. However, all available resources are currently working to restore service as soon as possible.
What should you do?
Please do not attempt to print to any MFDs until we notify you that the service has been restored. If you have a locally connected printer installed please utilise this whilst we attempt to resolve the problem.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
