What is happening?
On Tuesday 7th April 2009, the network cable connecting Hillhead to the rest of the University campus network will be replaced. As a direct result of this, all network (internet) and telephone connections from Hillhead will not be available. The connection is scheduled to be down for a period of 2 hours from 5:00am to 7:00am.
What should you do?
All network and telephone connectivity from Hillhead will be unavailable during this period. You will not be able to connect to the internet and so will lose access to email, web, instant messaging etc. In addition you will not be able to make outgoing landline calls or receive incoming landline calls. Connectivity on the remainder of the University campus will be unaffected and mobile networks will be unaffected.
