From 7:30am on Wednesday 21st August, parts of the university IT network will be at risk, or will see a brief outage, due to updates to network equipment based in Old Aberdeen.
Work will start just after 7:30am and we will aim to complete before 8:00am, however, services are at risk until 8:30am.

- Old Brewery
- St Marys
- Taylor, E block

- MacRobert
- Powis Gate
- Regent Building
- Science Teaching Hub
- Sir Duncan Rice Library
- Taylor, blocks A,B,C&D
- The Students' Union Building
- William Guild
- Zoology
Why is this happening?
We need to install critical security updates to our network equipment. Unfortunately, not all buildings have full network resilience, which is why some buildings will see a short network outage.
