Users may be receiving an error message when trying to connect to Shibboleth authenticated services.
What is happening?
This morning, we made a planned change to move Shibboleth authentication to a platform. This service is used to access various online resources such as library journals, MyIT, Panopto and more. Unfortunately, there was a problem during the change that has impacted some staff and students.
The impact means that you may receive an error when trying to connect to Shibboleth authenticated services.

It is right to be cautious and not proceed when you see this error, so thank you for reporting these issues to us.
What can you do?
If you are experiencing this issue, please restart your computer. Our initial testing indicates this will resolve the issue for you, however if you continue to experience problems please get in contact via the Service Desk.
Remote Access
If you are impacted by the problem then you can connect to UoA resources using the VPN or VDI as these services are not impacted by the issues.
