Fun and interesting genomics based activities celebrating European Researcher's night.
Explorathon ‘16 is a Scotland wide event to celebrate European Researcher's night which was held on Friday 30th September. As part of this event, the CGEBM team was invited to hold a stall after our success at Aberdeen Doors open day 2016. The CGEBM team was available to answer any questions that members of the public have about the research being undertaken, and to teach interesting facts and basic concepts of genomics through fun family activities. These activities included DNA mini golf, DNA origami and "Pin the eye on the Mendelian" kids games. The sun came out for the event and many interested people came to discuss genomics and participate in our activities.
