Deeside Steam and Vintage Club visit to the Institute of Medical Sciences
On Monday 24th November Iain Fraser welcomed committee members from the Deeside Steam and Vintage Club to the Institute of Medical Sciences, Aberdeen University. A very generous cheque for £1,500 was presented to him which was raised during their annual rally held at Crathes in August. They were shown round the laboratories and the Iain Fraser Cytometry Centre by Dr Raif Yucel and Dr Lucia Kuffova who explained how their donation will be used to research sight threatening diseases of eye. We are very grateful for the donation and extend our thanks to all who were involved in their fund raising efforts.
