Surface Plasmon Resonance (Biacore)
Analyse molecular interactions in real time using the Biacore X100 system (GE Healthcare). This instrument measures kinetics, affinities and specificities of ligand-analyte interactions, whether they involve proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, or even larger structures (viruses, whole cells).
Help and advice is available from Craig Pattinson and the technical team. Please note the facility maintains the equipment but does not offer an analytical service for the Biacore; users must be trained and costs are based on the amount of instrument time used.
