The 13th Experimental Chaos and Complexity Conference will convene August 25-28, 2014 at the King's College of the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, UK.

A Welcome/Networking Reception will be held on the evening of August 24th.

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to host this prestigious conference. The 13th Experimental Chaos and Complexity Conference will be a forum that brings together an international interdisciplinary group involving physicists, engineers, mathematicians, chemists, biologists, and neuroscientists focused on various aspects of experimental Chaos and Complexity. This meeting will focus on experimental approaches at the intersection of physics, engineering, neuroscience, chemistry, and biology.

A preliminary list of topics includes: neuronal dynamics, data analysis, dynamics in systems biology, extreme events, dynamical networks, quantum chaos, chemical dynamics, ecological systems, graphene, experimental control and pattern formation. Other fields falling within the general scope of the conference are welcome.

Registration

Registration is now open via the University Store

Fees

Early registration fees are:

  • standard rate: 310 GBP (early registration)
  • student rate: 210 GBP (early registration)

The deadline for early registration is 15th May 2014.

The fees for late registration are:

  • standard rate: 430 GBP
  • student rate: 310 GBP

The on-site registration fees are:

  • standard rate: 480 GBP (on-site registration)
  • student rate: 360 GBP (on-site registration)

Registration fee includes: welcome reception, poster reception, conference dinner, leisure activity, lunch vouchers, coffee and biscuits.
