REMIT

The remit of the group:

  • To achieve a global reputation for academic excellence in pedagogic research within Applied Health Sciences
  • We focus on theory-driven and theory-generating research which informs new approaches to teaching, learning, assessment and student support
  • We support research which has immediate impact on practice and more theoretical work which paves the way for changing thinking
  • We are a multidisciplinary team whose research includes both qualitative and quantitative paradigms

 

BLOGS

The Postgraduate Education Research Group has a new blog series to showcase and discuss teaching activity and pedagogical research within our group and to give voices to and raise the profiles of our staff, engage with our students beyond the classroom as well as potential future students, colleagues and maintain links with alumni. The blog is hosted by the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition website and can be found here.
