In this video, Wariri Oghenebrume from Global Health and Management Class of 2015/16 talks about his work based placement and subsequent dissertation fieldwork with the MRC/Wits Rural Public Health and Health Transitions Research Unit in South Africa. In his coursework, Wariri travelled to South Africa to participate in a broader programme of health systems research connecting local communities and health policy makers. Wariri talks about how the experience has prepared him to make a positive difference in global health.
