Invitation to participate in research on staff and student perspectives on generative artificial intelligence in Higher Education in UK institutions
The Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh Napier and Heriot-Watt obtained funding from AdvanceHE to conduct research to understand what may influence students and staff when deciding to engage, or not, with GenAI tools and how they can be supported to use these tools responsibly, ethically and effectively. The outputs from this work (dataset, report, resource cards, infographics) will be shared openly through creative commons licencing for the benefit of all.
If you work or study in a UK university we invite you to undertake the survey [link to survey: https://abdn.site/GenAI-in-HE-Survey]. We estimate that survey completion takes around 15 minutes and all responses are anonymous. The survey will be open until mid-July, or longer, depending on the responses received.
