The University of Dundee is hosting a one day meeting on Saturday 27th April on behalf of the NIHR collaboration on cancer and nutrition with support from The World Cancer Research Fund, the Association for the Study of Obesity and The Scottish Cancer Prevention Network.
The aim of the meeting is to consider current evidence around obesity, intentional weight loss and potential approaches for trials to reduce cancer risk and in cancer survivorship. The meeting has a range of speakers including expertise in Epidemiology, trials, behaviour change, obesity, physical activity, cancer survivorship, public perspectives.

In addition Dr Jennifer Ligibel from Harvard Medical School/ Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will be providing insights to her weight loss trial in breast cancer survivors in the US.
The meeting is a satellite of the European Congress on Obesity which will start on Glasgow on Sunday 28th April.
