At our HSRU staff away day this week we spent time reflecting on the Unit's achievements as well as looking forward and planning for the future.
A lot of fun was had along the way thanks to the social committee - an ice breaker of ‘staff bingo’ (who likes anchovies?!) was followed later in the day with HSRU Pictionary!
Among the achievements highlighted was the Queen’s Anniversary Prize which HSRU recently won along with the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) to recognise our work in Health Services Research. HSRU Director Craig Ramsay highlighted how proud he was of this award and of all the staff past and present who had contributed towards it.
We also recognised the contributions of six staff members (Craig Ramsay, Kirsty McCormack, Samantha Wileman, Graeme MacLennan, Cynthia Fraser and Alison Avenell – not in picture) who have been working in HSRU for more than 20 years.
