The Health Services Research Unit (HSRU) was delighted to host a join stand with the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at this year's NHS Scotland event which had the theme 'Delivering now; improving for the future'.
The event saw around 2,000 delegates who work in or with healthcare services descending on the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow on 18-19 June for two days of fascinating and thought-provoking plenary sessions, workshops and other activities.
2018 was the third consecutive year that HSRU and HERU had hosted a joint stand at the event, and as in previous years it proved to be an extremely successful two days. In addition to attending the plenary sessions and workshops, the HSRU staff who were in attendance spoke to a wide range of visitors to the stand interested in the health services and health economics research undertaken at Aberdeen and we are looking forward to developing new collaborations and projects with many of the new contacts made at the event.
If you missed us at the event, or weren’t able to be there this year, you can still get in touch about your health services research needs, ideas for new collaborations or projects or to get involved in our research: simply email hsru@abdn.ac.uk.
