Craig Ramsay, together with experts from across Canada and around the world will be in Calgary this week to share their experiences and knowledge on using performance feedback to improve quality of care.
Performance Feedback (often called “audit and feedback”) is a widely used strategy to support healthcare quality improvement. There is substantial evidence to support its use and ways of optimising its effectiveness. However, the extent to which this evidence base is used to inform the design and delivery of current performance feedback programs is often unclear.
This Audit and Feedback Meeting aims to bring together research experts and healthcare organisations delivering performance feedback to discuss the current state of evidence in using performance feedback for quality improvement and to create opportunities for collaborations between research and practice.
Funded by the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit Knowledge Translation Platform. This national meeting forms part of an international multidisciplinary Audit and Feedback Meta-laboratory collaborative.
