Biography
Azhar joined the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) in June 2023 as a Research fellow and works in the Assessment of Technologies theme within the research unit. His primary research interests revolve around the economic evaluation of health interventions, utilizing a combination of trial-based and decision-modeling approaches. Currently, he is working on critical evaluation of the health economic methods used in single technology assessments. Azhar obtained his PhD degree in 2021 from Jamia Hamdard University, India.
