HERU Blog post on what matters to patients in persistent pain

The latest HERU Blog post looks at what support patients want for the self-management of persistent pain. The post discusses our research looking at the value of different aspects of person-centred care for people with long-term conditions. A Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE) was applied to identify which aspects of support for self-management are most important to people living with persistent pain.

In the previous Blog post we explain what a DCE is and how we apply them in health economics. This study is an example of a DCE being applied to determine the preferences of patients.
