The University of Aberdeen are now offering a short course in 'Economic Evaluation: Principles and Frameworks'. The 15-credit course is tutored by HERU staff and starts on 18th September 2023. This is a Masters-level course and is also part of our Postgraduate Programme in 'Health Economics for Health Professionals'. It is delivered entirely online, with a time commitment of 10-15 hours per week, over 12 weeks.
The course provides an opportunity to learn to use a range of economic evaluation methods, including cost-effectiveness analysis. There is no need to have a background in economics to join the course. There are more details of the course and registration at the 'Economics Evaluation: Principles and Frameworks' page.
In January, a course on 'Economic Evaluation: Application and Policy' will be made available. These individual courses can be taken as standalone courses or can contribute to a qualification for students who decide to continue studying.
