The December 2022 HERU newsletter has been issued. In the newsletter, we highlight our involvement in some exciting new research projects:
- A major new project, led by Aberdeen City Council and funded by NIHR, to understand and address health inequalities in the city of Aberdeen.
- The PATHWAY study looking at factors that could determine waiting list prioritisation for knee and hip surgery.
- The Plan-A study to develop a decision aid to guide discussions around birth plan options.
We also feature our popular 'Using Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE) in Health Economics' course, which took place in Aberdeen in September. We have new dates for the course in 2023 and 2024. Our Staffing Updates section contains news on the award of a Personal Chair to HERU's Verity Watson, and of three Research Fellow opportunities in HERU.
