Resources

The department benefits from a range of resources and facilities, for research and teaching. Research facilities include state of the art visualisation and seismic interpretation facilities; as well as microscopy, petrophysics, palynology and geochemistry laboratories. Aberdeen is also a partner in the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre providing expertise and facilities in mass spectrometry, isotope and radiometric geochemistry.
