Dr David Watts, Lecturer in Human Geography, has been awarded funding to conduct research into consumers’ attitudes to plant-based protein alternatives to meat. This work, which is funded by the Scottish Government, will be undertaken in co-operation with colleagues at the University’s Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health.
Working with Dr Watts on this project will be David McBey. David took up his post in the Rowett Institute at the start of 2015, having completed almost ten years of under- and post-graduate study in Sociology at Aberdeen.
