The degree of D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) was conferred upon Professor Doerthe Tetzlaff by the University of Aberdeen after the approval from three external referees of a bound thesis entitled: "Tracing connections between landscapes and riverscapes - conceptualizing the links between catchment hydrology and in-stream ecology."
The D.Sc. is the University's most prestigious degree and is conferred only upon candidates who have displayed outstanding merit in the field of scientific and technological research.
