The URBACT thematic report written by Professor William J V Neill and Dr Hans Schlappa in the "Cities of Tomorrow: Action Today" series has just been published. It will be launched on 18 June 2013 in Brussels. URBACT is the European exchange and learning programme promoting sustainable urban development with the support of the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission. The report is entitled "From Crisis to Choice: Re-Imagining the Future in Shrinking Cities" and is based on research and evidence gathering encompassing a wide range of EU participants in 2012.
The launch event will take place in the Albert Borschette Conference Centre (room 0D; 36 rue Froissart, B-1040 Brussels, European Commission) on Tuesday 18 June 2013, 11:00-14:00
