Scotland’s Centre of Expertise for Waters (CREW) is funding a 3-year research project to explore the impacts on people and communities following the December 2015/ January 2016 flood events in Scotland. The project is a collaboration between the University of Aberdeen and the James Hutton Institute and will be led by Drs Lorna Philip and Mags Currie and will be conducted over a three year period. The research represents a unique opportunity for longitudinal engagement with individuals and communities affected by Storm Frank (late December 2015/ early January 2016) in North East Scotland. More information is also available on the James Hutton Institute's website.
