University-based Archaeology journal achieves highest ranking in Norway
The Norwegian Register of Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers has upgraded Medieval Archaeology, the international journal of the Society for Medieval Archaeology, to its highest grade, a ‘highly prestigious publication channel’. The journal is edited by Dr Sally Foster and one of the Associate Editors is Professor Neil Price, both of Department of Archaeology, School of Geosciences. This grading applies to less than 23% of the worldwide archaeology and conservation journals they have assessed.
