Horn Family Scholarship/ICAS Foundation programme

Summary

The scholarship is open to third or fourth year undergraduate students studying Accountancy, Finance or Business Management (single or joint honours) who attended North East Scotland College or certain schools across Aberdeen and the wider area. Students should preferably be in third year of their undergraduate degree.

Description

The scholarship is valued at £2,000 per annum for the remaining 2 year duration of the undergraduate degree (i.e. £2,000 per annum for each of years 3 and 4). The scholarship will be awarded on basis of financial need and academic potential (although the main weighting will be on financial need).

Eligibility

As mentioned above, students should preferably be in the third year of their undergraduate degree. The scholarship is for students doing Accountancy, Finance or Business Management (single or joint honours) who attended North East Scotland College or certain schools across Aberdeen and the wider area, as follows:

Aberdeen City: Bucksburn Academy, Lochside Academy, Northfield Academy, St Machar Academy.

Aberdeenshire: Banff Academy, Fraserburgh Academy, Peterhead Academy, Portlethen Academy

Angus: Arbroath Academy, Brechin High School

Moray: Buckie High School, Elgin High School
