Organised by The Ogston Surgical Society and aimed at medical students of all years and Foundation Year doctors.
The theme of the conference is 'Trauma and Orthopaedics' with lectures from experts in the field in the morning session and four small-group workshops (all extremely interesting and engaging!) in the afternoon.
Workshops include: Tendon repair, Fracture management, Small fragment plating & external fixation, and a trauma scenario simulation.
A full programme is available here.
The conference is absolutely free to attend. Lunch and coffee/tea and certificates of attendance will be provided.
We have also opened the abstract submission and would like to invite poster presentations on surgical, acute/critical care or medical education topics. The deadline to submit your abstracts has been extended until Wednesday 2nd March.
