A jam-packed day of fun to celebrate Insect Week!
Find out more about the insects that run the world! Join us for an afternoon of drop-in workshops and talks with plenty of fun for the whole family including storytelling, the psychology of phobias, ask the expert sessions and honeybee meditation. Learn more about insect society (including war and revolutions!) and the role of insects as food, before meeting the bloodsuckers...when its feeding time at the insect zoo! Special guest Jess French from CBeebies will also be signing books and children are invited to take part in our minibeast fancy dress competition (judged at 2pm).
