A striking new projection artwork commissioned for SPECTRA 2016, celebrating Aberdeen's achievements in innovation, architecture, design and featuring research from the University of Aberdeen.
This animated work has been created specifically to be projected upon the historic Mitchell Hall within Marischal College quad by Scottish based Mapping specialists, Double Take Projections and a soundtrack featuring original composition “Digital Dust” performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra from composer Jack White. Face of Innovation present an impressionistic take on Aberdeen’s pioneering spirit of innovation, featuring ‘Illuminating Research’, images of the latest innovative research from the University of Aberdeen as well as images of historic contributions to design, science and society uncovered from Aberdeen archives.
