Chris Croly takes a virtual walk down the Castlegate of George Washington Wilson’s day. Using images by Wilson from the Special Collections Centre's digital archive, this will be a fascinating look back in time.
Chris Croly, Public Engagement Officer at the University of Aberdeen, studied history at the University of Strathclyde and then completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge. From 2001-15 he was City Historian with Aberdeen City Council. He is a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland as well as a Burgess of Guild of the City of Aberdeen and has led on research and publications into many different aspects of Aberdeen’s past.
