Abstract:

Linked Open Data (LOD) has become one of the most important community efforts to publish high-quality interconnected semantic data. Such data has been widely used in many applications to provide intelligent services such as entity search and personalized recommendation. While DBpedia, one of the LOD core data sources, contains resources described in multilingual versions and semantic data in English is proliferating, there is very few work on publishing Chinese semantic data. In this talk, I will present Zhishi.me, the frst effort to publish large scale Chinese semantic data and link them together as a Chinese LOD (CLOD). More precisely, I will introduce details of instance matching, type inference as well as how to build a large scale Chinese schema.org, which is further integrated into zhishi.me. Finally, I will show you the future plan of developing zhishi.me

As one of the deputy local chairs, he hosted the 9th International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC 2010). As a technical leader, he led a team to build a scalable semantic search engine, which won the 2nd price of Billion Triple Challenge, ISWC 2008. He also led a team to won the 1st place of data interlinking in ontology matching competition, OAEI, 2011. More recently, he has led a team to won entity similarity track and relation inference tracks of Baidu Knowledge Graph competition, won the 1st place of Datathon, LLOD 2015, and 2nd place of hybrid track in QALD 2015.
