Coffee and a slice of science! Our Cafe Scientifique Aberdeen City series takes place monthly in Waterstones Union Bridge book store in Aberdeen's Union Street, usually around the middle Wednesday of the month. Sessions run from January through to October and are free to attend. No booking is required and places are allocated on the first-come basis. What's more, most events are free (though some require booking). All are pitched at a very accessible level and give ample time for audience questions and discussion.
Science non-Fiction
From their original careers in research, Pippa Goldschmidt and David Godden turned to writing, blogging and story-telling to help make emotive and complex science accessible to a wider audience. Come and share their journeys, hear about their latest works and explore the wider role of fiction in science.
