Join us for a special evening of astronomy as we celebrate Autumn MoonWatch at Satrosphere Science Centre. Telescopes on the lawn, talks, planetarium shows, prizes and lots more. Admission is free.

To celebrate International Year of Astronomy we are hosting a special Autumn MoonWatch event at Satrosphere Science Centre on Thursday 29th October. Weather permitting there will fantastic views of the moon on offer thanks to a suite of telescopes mounted on the Satrosphere lawn. And even if its cloudy there will be talks, shows and activities inside, all with a moon theme of course. Members of Aberdeen Astronomical Society will be giving talks while TechFest-SetPoint's infatable planetarium will be offering guaranteed clear skies with special moon shows. Giveaways on the night sky and information about International Year of Astronomy will be on offer too, and a chance to meet enthusiasts with experience of viewing the night sky. Satrosphere's cafe will be open for drinks and snacks and the event will run from 7pm to 9pm. Admission free.
