This special opening event offers a lively programme of performances and activities for all ages, shining a spotlight on the rich cultural heritage of Songjiang's textile traditions.
Experience the excitement of Chinese lion dance performed by Yee’s Hung Ga Kung Fu, and enjoy captivating Chinese dance performances by RedPhoenix Dance. Throughout the day, visitors can take part in hands-on craft activities provided by the Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen, offering a fun and educational experience for families and children.
Whether you are interested in textiles, Chinese culture, or simply looking for a fun day out, this launch event has something for everyone. The exhibition will be open for viewing from 10th May until 5th July.
