Come along and make your own fantasy map at this workshop in the Sir Duncan Rice Library!
Have you been inspired by the current exhibition 'Imagined Norths'? We've been having a lot of fun with maps!
For this workshop we'll be providing drawing and collage materials for you to create your own imaginative cartography; there will be drawing guides available, and the facilitator will provide guidance if you need it.
The workshop is open to all ages and levels of experience.
See and learn about a selection of historical maps that will be on display in the University Collections Research Room, and gets some inspiration and ideas for your own map.
If you are already an experienced fantasy cartographer, bring something you're working on to share with other participants!
This is a FREE drop-in event, open to all.
Stay for a short time or for the whole session.
Parking is available next to the Sir Duncan Rice Library and is FREE at the time of this event.
